At our Sunday School, we learn the Macedonian alphabet, listen to songs and stories and learn to read and write the Macedonian Language. With the older students, we also work on grammar and correct oral and written expression, storytelling, reading and creation. The themes are from our Republic of Macedonia and mostly revolve around everyday life. Through play, song, music, poetry, short stories, and making friends, the children learn the Macedonian language and bring themselves closer to their roots.

Students attend liturgy from 11 AM to 11:30 AM where they receive Holy Communion and listen to the sermon.

After a snack break, our students head back to the classroom from 11:30 AM – 12 PM for Bible Study where they explore themes from our Orthodox Faith.

Classes are held every week on Sundays from 9:30 – 12:00 PM.

Sunday school students also actively participate in all cultural events and religious activities in the church. This includes events like the Patron Saint Day of the Church, the Nativity of Christ – Christmas, the Resurrection of Christ – Easter, the Days of Macedonian Literature and Culture and the annual end-of-school year event.
